MOCK HERO SPOT FOR NICOLODEON
BRIEF
THE
This project was created for a 3D compositing class where we where assigned to take real nicolodeon footage from the 2021 Kids Choice awards.
We paired in groups of 4 to complete the piece, and each of us were assigned a role. I volunteered to be the cg artist, in witch I was in charge of modeling the blimp.
The project took 3 weeks of production, and 1 week of pre production and research.

THE
This was my first attempt at modeling, I followed the schematics a closely as possible, however the blimp appeared to organic and distorted in our composite, so i decided to make it more geometric and add more color for more visual intrest.
PROCESS
MODELING
The second pass of modeling focused on adding toon shading, Uv textures, and a more geometric form to fit out comic book visual style more and to look better in our blimp hero shot.
My final task was to receive camera tracking date from the compositing lead, and to place the blimp in the shots to send back for integrating in the scene.
