The mission was to create style frames for a conference opener for our departments annual Motion design conference called Futureproof. This was for a design class where we where each to pair up and create our own frames and branding package. I paired with fellow motion designer Juansebatian Hincapi, who is excellent at illustration, dynamic type, 3D, and cell animation. While our styles are vastly different, we easily found wasy to bring the piece to life. Juan created the hero assets for the piece, like the elements, type, and characters, while I created the backgrounds, composited and arranged the elements, and color graded the piece.

Like any conference, promotional materials are needed, like posters and merch. I handled the poster designs using assets Juan provided, and Juan handled the shirts and other merch.
BRIEF
THE
This is our boardomatic for the project. We wanted our theme to represent how motion design is about breaking boundaries, and is not confined to just one style. We worked together on the major storybeats, but Juan handled the boardomatic due to his illustration competence and speed.
