This project was created for a compositing class where we where assigned to explore 3d camera tracking in Nuke using 3d objects and provided RED footage to create a brand ad from our choosing.
The footage provided was mostly outdoor patio footage, so I chose to go with the brand Ikea to composite outdoor furniture within the space.
I came up with an app concept of visualizing furniture in your space using your phones camera before you buy, witch I thought could make a great ad and an interesting concept.
This is a compositing breakdown of the piece. It was a challenge to accurately light the chair correctly to match the footage, and to get the perspective and placement correct, however once I got that dialed animation was a breeze.
